Year 6 Power Readers at Shirley Warren
We started on our first Power of Reading book today and as the class teacher I have to say I loved the responses from the class and how they engaged with the novel.
What they really liked was the fact I did something with them that we did on the course. However I was glad I didn't have to roleplay like I did with the year 6 teacher from Mansbridge Primary!
I loved how they engaged with the text and how excited they were and how they almost begged me to continue reading.
My Power Readers for today:
Derek & Chloe - what amazing responses!
Keep it up!

Power of Reading
I think all the teachers I met today are feeling inspired about taking part in the project. This blog has been set up for a group of Southampton school children to share their experiences during this project.
